Assam blasts: 1 dead, 24 hurt

Hours after a statement issued by the commander-in-chief of the banned United Liberation Front of Asomdenying its involvement in explosionsacross the state the past two days, another series of explosions took place on Saturday evening.

Policehave said that one person was killed and at least 24 others injured as militants suspectedto belongto theULFA detonated a series of explosions.

One person died and 17 others sustained injuries when a grenade explodedunder a flyover at Ganeshguri on the busy G S Road near the capital complex at Dispur.

In another explosion near a Railway Protection Force campat Bamunimaidan area left at least four injured while two other explosions at Sivasagar in Upper Assam left at least three injured.

Police have said that a crude oil pipeline of Oil India Limitedat Hapjan in Tinsukia district of Upper Assam was damaged in another explosiontriggered at around 7 pm on Saturday.

its really shamefull that most of the time assam is having bomb blast.most of the people are jealous with each other.
