Police have arrested three Nigerian nationals from Delhi following an interrogation of Sahil Zaroo, who allegedly procured drugs for the late Bharatiya Janata Party leader Pramod Mahajan's son Rahul and his aide Bibek Maitra, and recovered some narcotics from their possession.

Two of the Nigerians, going by the nicknames David and Tobu respectively, were arrested from Munirka area of south-west Delhi late on Sunday night while another was arrested from a nearby place, police said.

Some drugs were also recovered from their possession, they said.

The arrest of the three comes in the wake of the sustained interrogation of Sahil, who is said to have procured drugs for Rahul and Maitra on Thursday night.

Police is also expected to question Rahul at the Apollo hospital later in the day.

An effort had been made to question Rahul on Sunday, but doctors at the hospital had said he was 'unfit' to make any statement.
