July 21, 2006 13:12 IST

A crude bomb has been recovered from an empty city bus, police said on Friday.

The bomb was found on Thursday night by the conductor of the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation bus, police said.

As soon as the conductor brought it to the notice of the police outpost nearby, a bomb disposal squad rushed to the spot and recovered it, they said.
