A top Pakistani diplomat on Thursday ruled out Pakistan's involvement in the Mumbai serial blasts and said without proper investigation Islamabad should not be blamed.

"Pakistan was the first country to express its condolence and Indian authorities should not accuse Pakistan without proper investigation," Deputy High Commissioner of Pakistan to India Afrasiab said in New Delhi on the sidelines of a function.

Referring to the postponment of foreign secretary level-talks he said, "At this juncture it is important to continue peace talks between the two countries."
