"Today, she filled up the form as an active member of the Nationalist Congress Party," NCP state unit president Arun Gujrathi announced at a meeting of the party in Mumbai on Monday evening.

Pawar was present at the meeting.

Supriya, Pawar's only child, is involved in development work for backward clasess and women's self-help groups.
