PM to visit Mumbai on Friday

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is likely to visit Mumbai on Friday to get a first hand assessment of the serial bomb blasts in suburban trains that claimed 190 lives and left several injured.

The prime minister, in his televised address on Wednesday praised the speed with the people of Mumbai returned to normal life and made it clear that terrorism would be firmly stamped out.
