Western Railway began its suburban services at different places almost four hours after the serial bomb blasts in its trains today.

However, 14 outgoing long-distance trains and five incoming trains have been cancelled, Western Railway officials said.

The first train services since the blasts began at 9:55 pm between Vasai and Virar while the services from Churchgate in south Mumbai began at 10.44 pm, the officials told PTI.

Trains between Borivili and Goregaon began at 11.05 pm.

Among the long-distance trains, all the Gujarat-bound trains and a few north-bound trains have been cancelled.
