For Rahul, more gyms = better Amethi!

July 07, 2006 15:28 IST

In order to ensure physical development of youths of his constituency, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has decided to establish Rajiv Gandhi gyms in all its blocks and has handed over the responsibility for the same to a core group.

Work on construction of the gyms is in the final stage in Shahgarh, Musafirkhana and Amethi, the core group members told reporters.

They said a gym would cost around Rs 2 lakh and 25 such gyms would be opened in the constituency.

A nominal Rs 1 would be charged from youths as entry fee to these gyms, they added.
