Pakistan on Monday said it was certain that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh [Images] would visit Islamabad "some time" even though the dates are not finalised yet.

"We had no intimation about the visit. There is an invitation which was accepted by Indian Prime Minister. We do not have any dates for this visit. But one thing I will say with certainty is that it will take place some time," Pakistan Foreign Office Spokesperson Tasnim Aslam told reporters in Islamabad.

Answering a question whether Singh's visit was delayed due to lack of tangible result, Aslam said Pakistan is keen to see tangible results. "We are keen to move forward in the bilateral dialogue process.

We want it to be result-oriented and we want the disputes and differences resolved. If the Indian leadership is equally keen to see tangible developments, that is a good development and I am sure they are," she said.
