Should family planning be banned? Tell us

Puri Sankaracharya Swami Nischalananda Saraswati on Friday said he advocated a ban on abortion and family planning procedures.

He alleged that family planning measures were proving to be the bane of Hindus who would 'become a minority in India quite soon if these practices continue'.

A few months ago, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief R Sudarshan had asked Hindus to produce not less than three children and called for an end to the majority-minority concept.

"Don't get into the trap of two child or one child norm. If you go by the one child norm, in the next 120 years, there won't be any successors in your family," he had said.

What do you think? Should abortion and family planning be banned? Are family planning measures a bane of the Hindus? Tell us.
