Temperatures rise above normal in Delhi

Night temperatures rose above their normal range for the first time in Delhi this season a week after plummeting to a 70-year low, the Weather Office said Saturday.

It recorded minimum temperatures at 8� C, 1� C above normal.

There was no morning fog as another sunny day greeted Delhi.

Airlines also reported all flight departures and arrivals on schedule.

There were no reports of delays in train departures from Delhi because of weather.

Night temperatures last Saturday dropped down to 0.2� C, breaking the capital's 70-year winter record.
