The winter woes of Delhi continue with temperatures remaining low and a thin layer of mist enveloping the region.

The minimum temperature recorded was 4.3 C at 0610 hours, a slight rise from Monday's 1.6 C.

The maximum temperature was 19.3  C.

Runway visibility range at the Palam airport was at 1,200 mt and a layer of mist enveloped the capital in the early hours Tuesday, Metereological Department officials said.

Rail services remained behind schedule and trains reaching Delhi were delayed as the plains were under a thick fog cover. However, air traffic was unaffected.
