The Andhra Pradesh government, which in January is hosting the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas and the Congress party's plenary session, is fully geared up to meet any security challenge, Home Minister K Jana Reddy said on Thursday.

Following the recent arrests of some suspected terrorists in Hyderabad and neighbouring districts, the police and intelligence agencies have beefed up security.
