Alleging a 'complete cover-up' in investigations in the case, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav on Tuesday repeated that Sonia Gandhi [Images] has ordered the tapping of telephones of senior Samajwadi Party leaders, including Amar Singh

"It is a complete cover up," he told a press conference, asserting that there should be an inquiry into the case by the Special Task Force of the Uttar Pradesh Police and not not by the CBI as he 'has no faith' in it.

Last week, the Union Home Ministry had dismissed Yadav's charge as 'baseless'.
