Expelled Bharatiya Janata Party leader Uma Bharti will announce her future course of action on completion of her Ram Roti Yatra at Ayodhya on January 14, the auspicious day of Makar Sankranti.

Social and political groups were in touch with the former Madhya Pradesh chief minister and consultations were on, but any decision regarding floating a new political party would be taken only after she concludes the Ram roti yatra on January 14, a close associate of Bharti and former union minister Prahlad Patel told newsmen in Lucknow Sunday.

In reply to a question, Patel denied any involvement of Bharti behind the expose of the sex scandal of former BJP general secretary Sanjay Joshi.

Joshi, he said, should muster courage and expose those who were out to malign him.

Sunderlal Lodhi, associated with the ruling Samajwadi Party, however, clarified that he was in touch with Bharti as they have familiar terms and also because the state government has accorded her the status of a state guest.
