A special team is investigating the complaint given by actress Khushboo against the Indian edition of a London [Images] based magazine Maxim, City Police Commissioner R Natraj said in Chennai Thursday.
The process of investigation is on. Police will take appropriate action, he told reporters.
On January 30, the actress had submitted a complaint to the police commissioner pleading for action against the magazine for publishing an "immodest" picture of hers in one of its editions.
Following her complaint, several hundred copies of the issue were seized from various shops in the city.
On Wednesday, the actress had sent legal notices seeking Rs 3 crore as compensation from the magazine.
