Quake hits Indo-China border February 15, 2006 04:56 IST A moderate intensity earthquake hit the India-China border region in Uttaranchal early on Wednesday morning, the Met Office said. The quake, which took place at 0047 IST, measured 5 on the Richter scale and as epicentred at a latitude of 30.4 degree North and a longitude of 80.4 degree East, it said. There were no immediate reports of casualty or damage to property. A 5.7 magnitude moderate tremor was recorded on Tuesday in Sikkim.
