Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy said on Sunday that the Cabinet will be expanded within three or four days from February 8, the day the Bharatiya Janata Party-Janata Dal (Secular) coalition is slated to seek the trust vote.

Kumaraswamy said he will visit New Delhi on February 13 or 14 during which he would call on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh [Images]. He will also meet top BJP leaders.

The chief minister said ideological differences with the BJP will not come in the way of good governance, pointing out that what's important is being responsive to people's problems and aspirations.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa has indicated that he will hold the finance portfolio.

Addressing BJP legislators representing Bangalore, he said since he will be finance minister, he will give special priority for improvement of the city's infrastructure.
