Raghd, one of late Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein's daughters, has reportedly asked for her father to be buried in Yemen. Hussein was executed on Saturday morning in Baghdad, more than a month after he was sentenced to death for the killing of 148 Shias in 1982.

Currently in exile in Jordan, Raghd has reportedly said that 'until Iraq is liberated and he can be reburied there', Hussein must be buried 'temporarily' in Yemen.

Earlier, one of the defence lawyers, Issam Jhazzawi, had told agencies that Hussein's family was praying for that his soul 'will rest in peace among the martyrs'.
