A Delhi court on Monday allowed Rahul Mahajan, son of late Bharatiya Janata Party leader Pramod Mahajan, to travel abroad for his honeymoon.

The court of Additional Sessions Judge S N Gupta also directed Rahul Mahajan to inform the Investigating Officer of his travel schedule.

Rahul is marrying Shweta Singh in Mumbai on Tuesday and had sought permission of court to travel abroad for their honeymoon.

He is facing trial in a Delhi Court in a drug abuse case. According to the prosecution, Rahul along with late Pramod Mahajan's key aide Vivek Moitra, had allegedly consumed an unspecified quantity of a cocktail of drugs on June one
