J&K: 8 injured in grenade attacks

Six Border Security Force jawans and two civilians were injured when militants hurled two grenades on a security force picket in Sopore area of Baramulla district on Saturday.

Militants hurled the grenade on the BSF picket located at the State Bank of India [Get Quote], Sopore at 4.45 pm, official sources said.

Five BSF jawans were injured in the attack.

Militants had earlier in the day hurled a grenade on the same picket in which two civilians and a BSF jawan were injured, the sources said.
