4 more held in J&K sex scandal

The Central Bureau of Investigation on Saturday arrested four persons, including a policeman, in connection with the sex racket case after questioning them for the last two days.

Absar Ahmad Dar, a policeman, Hilal Ahmad Shah, Syed Altaf Hussain and Ajaz Ahmad Bhat, who were being questioned for the last two days, were arrested, CBI said.

They were presented before Chief Judicial Magistrate M Y Akhoon, who sent them to three days CBI remand.

With these fresh arrests, the number of persons arrested in connection with the scandal has gone up to 18.

Two former ministers G A Mir and Raman Matoo, two deputy supreintendents of police, a BSF DIG, former additional
advocate general and the alleged kingpin of the racket Sabeena are among those arrested for  their alleged involvement in the case.
