Mild quake in AP, Karnataka, TN

A slight intensity quake was on Friday felt in many parts of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

The quake lasted for a few seconds and measured 3.4 on the Richter scale, S Rao, senior meteorologist, Siesmic Unit, India Meteorological Department, told PTI.

The "slight intensity" quake at 0733 IST was epicentred at 12.9� north latitude and 78.4� east longtitude between the borders of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, he said.

In Tamil Nadu, there were no reports of damage due to quake, police and fire services said.
