Peeved at the constant nagging of her husband over her frequent use of the mobile phone, a wife in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir [Images] has left him.

Guddi left Bashir Ahmad, a resident of Bandipora in Baramulla district, a few days ago, when he asked her whom she kept talking to on her mobile phone, official sources said.

Guddi, however, made it clear to her husband that he should not bother about her use of mobile phone or who she was talking to. She even told him that she was willing to leave him but not the gadget, the sources said.

Following one of many such arguments, the woman, along with Bashir's sister, left home. Both were untraceable till date, they said. The husband has lodged a report at the local police station, the sources added.
