Tarannum, a bar girl, and two bookies were arrested early Friday morning under various acts on the charge of indulging in cricket betting.
Pradeep Parmar and Milind Dhiraj Nandu, alias DJ, alleged bookies, were arrested at 0100 hrs while Tarannum was arrested at 0545 hrs, police said. A case was registered against them by Oshiwara police, following which they were arrested.
The trio has been booked under the provisions of Prevention of Gambling Act, IT Act and IPC. They will be produced before the court later on Friday for remand.
