Vinod Sharma, a lookalike of Rashtriya Janata Dal president and Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, will contest against Rabri Devi, Lalu's wife and former chief minister, from Raghopur assembly constituency in the Bihar polls.

Sharma, nicknamed Lalu, dressed in Lalu-style crumpled white kurta-pyjama and sporting a silver haircut, said, "I will contest polls against Rabri Devi to defeat her."

However, Sharma was not too popular with the people as his attempt at a Bhojpuri accent failed. Originally from Haryana, he is the national general secretary of the Akhil Bhartiya Vikas Dal, floated by Dad Yadav, a supporter turned foe of Lalu.

Whether or not he defeats Rabri Devi, Sharma has drawn people because of his uncanny resemblance to Lalu. He is currently visiting different places across Bihar as part of his party campaign to 'expose the misdeeds of Lalu-Rabri'.
