A major fire broke out on Saturday in a multi-storied commercial building in Connaught Place area of the national capital New Delhi.
The fire broke out in the ninth floor of 'Himalaya House' on Kasturba Gandhi [Images] Marg at around 10:45 am, fire department said.
About 20 fire tenders were sent to douse the flames, it said.
The building houses offices of banks and scores of private companies.
