A 16-year-old girl from Bibigram area of the district died at the District Sadar hospital here, the sources said. Most of the viral fever victims who have died since August 22 are schoolchildren.

Two additional wards have been opened at the Sadar Hospital to cope with the rush of patients, the sources said, adding that an average of 40-45 patients were coming to the hospital everyday, showing symptoms of viral fever.
