Central Reserve Police Force personnel have donated their one-day's salary to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund in aid of the quake victims.

CRPF Director-General J K Sinha Tuesday handed over a cheque for Rs 3.59 crore to Prithviraj Chauhan, minister of state in the Prime Minister's Office.

The CRPF had earlier donated Rs 1.20 crore to the PM's Relief Fund immediately after the prime minister's call for quake contributions, it said in a statement in New Delhi.
