Notification issued for final phase polling in Bihar

Filing of nomination papers for the fourth and final phase of the Bihar assembly elections began on Wednesday with the issuance of notification by state Governor Buta Singh.

The last date of filing papers is November two while scrutiny of the same will be done the following day.

Deadline for withdrawal of candidature is fixed for November five and polling will be held on November 19.

Altogether 41 constituencies spread over five districts including Patna will go to the polls for the final phase.

Four constituencies of Patna district had gone to polls during the first phase of election on October 18.

The remaining nine constituencies of the Patna district will go to polls alongwith Gopalganj, Siwan, Saran and Nalanda districts, on November 19.
