Dr Thakur V Hariprasad of the Institute of Research and Rehabilitation for the Mentally Handicapped in Hyderabad will be conferred the title of 'Ambassador' of Oxford University.

Dr Thakur, who was selected to represent India at the inaugural ceremony of the World Forum at Oxford University in July 2006 would also be given the honour of 'Residency', an institute press release said.
