5.2 intensity tremors rock Nepal

The northwest areas of Nepal were rocked by an earthquake tuesday morning, India Meteorologcal Department said in New Delhi.

The temblor, which measured 5.2 on the Richter scale, occurred at 0721 hrs. It was described by the IMD as of moderate intensity. Its epicentre was 30.2 degree north and 81.2 degree east, the north-west border of the Himalayan state.
