No follow-up on LoC offer from Pak: India

India on Thursday said there has been no follow-up action by Pakistan so far to President Pervez Musharraf's [Images] offer of free movement across the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir [Images] and it was awaiting suggestions for its practical implementation.

New Delhi also termed as "entirely baseless" news reports quoting Pakistan's federal relief commissioner that India has rejected Pakistan's offer for movement across LoC.

"This is entirely baseless," External Affairs Ministry spokesman Navtej Sarna said in response to questions. "We have welcomed President Musharraf's offer but had said that we await suggestions for practical implementation of the offer. We have had no follow up from the Pakistani side so far," he said.
