Ahmedabad police probing deaths of two college students

The police is probing the deaths of two college students after their bodies were found from the outskirts of the city.

The body of Priyank Sharma, an MBA student from Nirma University was fished out from the campus pond Saturday while the body of Nipul Patel, a medical student was found in a canal near his institute, the police said.

A stone was found tied to Sharma's corpse, police said.

Police suspect that 25-year-old Sharma, a native of Rajasthan, committed suicide, but are not ruling out foul play in the case.

Patel, a 23-year-old studyng of B J Medical College, had been missing from the college hostel for the past two days, the police added.
