Delhi: Fire in plastic factory kills 1 October 04, 2005 23:21 IST Last Updated: October 05, 2005 00:48 IST One person was killed and eight others were injured in a fire in a four-storey building in north Delhi on Tuesday night, fire brigade sources said. The fire broke out in a floor of the building housing a unit manufacturing moulding machines at around 2030 IST. One person jumped from the top floor of the building near Filmistan in Sadar Bazar to escape the flames but died, the sources said, adding he was yet to be identified. Eight others were hospitalised with burns. The blaze was brought under control in an hour by four fire tender and its cause was being investigated, the sources said.
