Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray and senior party leaders were holding discussions at Matoshree, the residence of the party leader in suburban Bandra, in the wake of Raj Thackeray resigning from party posts.

Sena leaders gathered at Matoshree, where they were holding discussions with the Sena chief and executive president Uddhav Thackeray, following Raj's resignation as member of party executive and chief of Sena youth wing, Bharatiya Vidyarthi Sena, senior party leader and former Lok Sabha Speaker Manohar Joshi told reporters.

Joshi, who also met the elder Thackeray at Matoshree, said the discussions were still on - "Senior Sena leaders, along with the Sena supremo, are still discussing the Raj issue."

Joshi left along with leader of opposition in legislative Assembly, Ramdas Kadam. The Sena chief met senior party leaders on the issue on Sunday too.
