PM congratulates Nitish Kumar November 22, 2005 16:22 IST Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Tuesday called Bihar chief ministerial candidate Nitish Kumar and congratulated him on the Janata Dal (United)-Bharatiya Janata Party combine's electoral victory and assured him of the Centre's support to the state. Addressing a press conference in Delhi, along with National Democratic Alliance convenor George Fernandes, Kumar also made it clear that he was against any politics of confrontation.
