Normalisation of Indo-Pak relations is not possible until cross-border terrorism directed against India is eliminated, the official Voice of Russia [Images] radio said on Wednesday, advising Islamabad [Images] to closely interact with New Delhi [Images] in combating this scourge.

"The normalisation of India-Pakistan relations and solution of all outstanding issues between the two nations, including Kashmir, could hardly be expected until terrorism directed against India from the territory of Pakistan is stopped," the state-run radio said in a commentary on recent serial blasts in Delhi.

The Voice of Russia radio, known for reflecting the Kremlin's views, pointed to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's statement about foreign linkages behind the terror attacks on the Indian capital.

"It would be wrong to say that Pakistan is doing nothing for combating international terrorism and terrorist outfits, but it is evident that not everything is being done to eliminate terror directed against India. Islamabad should closely interact with New Delhi in this," the commentator said.

Welcoming New Delhi's gesture of goodwill by opening five crossing points along the Line of Control [Images] in Jammu and Kashmir [Images] to ease the plight of killer quake victims, Voice of Russia cautioned that it was utmost important to check terror and extremist outfits based in Pakistan from using the new opportunities for mounting terror attacks against India.
