Rashtriya Janata Dal member of Parliament from Siwan, Bihar, Mohammad Shahabuddin is in trouble again after a non-bailable arrest warrant was issued against him by a local court in a criminal case.

Siwan police superintendent Ratn Sanjay said on Monday the police had procured the copy of the arrest warrant against the MP and it would be executed at the earliest.

Official sources said the copies of the warrant had been fowarded to the state home secretary, Delhi police
commissioner and concerned police officials of other states for execution.

Additional district judge IV B K Ray on Saturday issued the non-bailable warrant of arrest against the Siwan MP following his failure to appear before the court despite several summons for framing charges in connection with an abduction case.

Shahabuddin, who is facing more than 40 criminal cases, is presently not in Siwan.
