Twin blasts: Delhi police announce reward

May 24, 2005 21:44 IST

The Delhi police on Tuesday announced a reward of Rs 100,000 for information about the blasts in two cinema halls on Sunday.

Both cinema halls had Sunny Deol-starrer Jo Bole Sonihal running. Some Sikh organisations have objected to the film's title saying it hurts the community's sentiments.

"The Commissioner of Police has declared a reward of Rs 100,000 to any person or persons who provide information leading to the arrest of those involved in the blasts in Liberty and Satyam cinema halls on May 22," a Delhi police spokesman said.

A man was killed and over 70 people were injured in the blasts. The police have not yet made any arrests.
