A case has been registered against actor Nana Patekar [Images] for allegedly threatening a businessman with a gun near Vashi on Mumbai's outskirts.

Businessman Utkarsh Morarma had an argument with the actor over a minor accident that occurred on the Ghatkopar-Mankhurd link road in northeast Mumbai around 1630 IST on Thursday, police said.

Later, when the two vehicles stopped at the tollgate, Patekar allegedly abused Morarma.

He then hit him on face, pulled his gun and threatened to kill the businessman, according to the complaint by Morarma.
