A day after Kerala [Images] Pradesh Congress Committee decided to do away with 'group activities' in the Congress, some leaders of 'I' group, who parted ways with senior leader K Karunakaran after he formed the National Congress (Indira), met in Kochi on Saturday to discuss their future course of action.

Those who participated in Saturday's meeting are legislators P C Chacko and V J Paulose and leaders Lino Jacob, K P Haridas, T J Vinod, and Simi [Images] Rosebel.

The meeting was held at Jacob's residence.

When contacted, 'I' group leaders said it was not a 'group' meeting, but only a get-together of leaders.

The KPCC executive, in its first meeting after Karunakaran broke away, had on Friday decided that group activities would not be allowed in the party.

Meanwhile, the Ernakulam DCC met on Saturday and discussed the schedule of the organisational elections.
