The budget session of Parliament was adjourned on Thursday for recess till April 17.
The month-long first half of the session, which commenced with the President's address to a joint sitting of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, witnessed the presentation of the railway and general budgets.
The controversial Patents (Amendment) Bill and the budgets for Bihar and Goa [Images], which are now under President's rule, were also passed during the session.
Standing Committees of Parliament would meet in the interregnum .
