Pakistan on Sunday released 529 Indian prisoners and four civilians who had been languishing in jail for the last one year, officials said.

The fishermen were caught fishing illegally in the territorial waters of Pakistan and the civilians had strayed into the country, officials in Karachi said.

The 533 Indians, along with 35 other Indian prisoners who have completed their jail terms, will be handed over to Indian officials at the Wagah border on Monday, they said.
