March 14, 2005 22:20 IST
Congress leader Bhajan Lal's son Chander Mohan might be made the deputy chief minister of Haryana, All India Congress Committee sources said on Monday.
Mohan is already a member of the Bhupinder Singh Hooda cabinet of the state.
Hooda, however, remained non-commital on the appointment of a deputy chief minister.
Hooda said, "I am not against anyone. There is no factionalism in Congress. We work as a party under the leadership of Sonia Gandhi."
Hooda also rejected the charge that seniority and experience were overlooked in constitution of his ministerial council and said, "Everybody's experience would be used in the development of Haryana."
