Teenager, 2 kids run over by train

A teenager and two children were mowed down by the Gaya-Nagpur Dikshabhoomi Express at Barbatpur, about 35 km from Betul in Madhya Pradesh, on Tuesday, Railway Police said.

Sunita Vasudeo (18) of village Saunsar and Deepu Gohe (8) and his sister Sonam Gohe (11), both residents of Barbatpur, were crossing a railway bridge over Machna river, the police said.

The children, along with their families, were on their way to offer prayers at a Lord Shiva [Images] temple on a nearby hillock.
