Police shot dead three members of the Lashkar-e-Toiba militant outfit, including two Pakistani nationals, in an encounter in Delhi on Saturday night.

The police said they foiled an attempt by the militants to attack Indian Military Academy in Dehra Dun.

Shahnawaz and Bilawal, both Pakistani nationals, and Shams alias Pervez from Patna, were killed in a 50-minute-long encounter in Suraj Vihar in Uttam Nagar, south-west Delhi, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) Ashok Chand told PTI.

Three AK-56 rifles and a huge amount of explosives and ammunition were recovered from them.
