A minor girl was allegedly raped by two policemen in Bhuj town of Kutch district in Gujarat, police said in Ahmedabad on Sunday.

The 14-year-old victim lodged a complaint on Saturday that a police sub-inspector and an assistant sub-inspector had allegedly raped her on Thursday at an abandoned appartment in the old police inspector quarters, officials told PTI.

The two policemen were arrested on Sunday, police said, adding that a medical test of the victim had confirmed that she was raped.

The victim said she and three of her friends were detained by the accused on Wednesday for `indecent behaviour' and was asked to meet the two officials the next day at the old quarters for questioning.
