Expelled Shiv Sena leader Narayan Rane on Saturday resigned from the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly.
Rane disclosed this to reporters at a press conference in Mumbai.
He had announced his decision to quit as Sena member in the assembly after meeting Congress president Sonia Gandhi [Images] on Friday amidst reports of his joining Congress.
