BJP writes to Advani on one-man one-post
July 16, 2005 18:48 IST
Stepping up the pressure on Bharatiya Janata Party president Lal Kishenchand Advani, senior party leader and member of Parliament Pyarelal Khandelwal on Saturday demanded that the upcoming Chennai National Executive discuss the party's ideological commitment. Khandelwal also said the Advani's controversial Pakistan visit and the principle of one-man one-post should be discussed. In his brief letter to Advani, Khandelwal said it was important that these issues were discussed in detail at the Chennai meeting so that "the entire situation becomes clear". He wanted a thorough discussion on Advani's Pakistan visit and "controversial questions arising out of it". He also sent a copy of the letter to former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
